Buying a property in another state can be a challenging process, with obstacles, challenges, and anxieties unique to that situation. Having the right agent is a critical part of successfully navigating it. We were fortunate to find and work with Molly Dwyer, who is that agent. I don't think I've ever been involved in a real estate transaction that went as smoothly as buying our house on Vinalhaven. Excellent communication, sound advice, resourcefulness, high competence, sensitivity to tricky situations, etc. We felt confident from beginning to end and are truly grateful for the superb representation we got from Molly.

After spending many years traveling to Maine we decided to buy a piece of the coast for ourselves.  Living out of state made us a little nervous when making an investment like this.  Luckily our dear friends referred us to Molly Dwyer who went above and beyond trying to find our little piece of Downeast Maine.  Molly helped us navigate not only the market, but she helped us understand paperwork we had never seen before, liens, septic systems, water wells and historical homes.  After a few failed attempts to outbid other buyers we found our gem on Deer Isle.  It has already brought us so much joy and we could never have done it without the tireless efforts of Molly.  She never stopped keeping us in the loop and encouraging us to keep going.  We feel so lucky to have worked with her!
