Joe has dedicated his entire career to helping people. Born and raised in Castine and Penobscot, Joe attended George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill for high school. After high school he earned his Paramedic certificate at
Northeastern University in Burlington, MA then quickly returned to the area he loves. Joe served as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Bangor for 28 years and retired in 2023 at the rank of Captain. He also dedicated 30 years of service to Peninsula Ambulance in Blue Hill where he started as an ambulance driver while still in high school. He is currently a Fire Captain for the Town of Bucksport Fire Department.

Joe holds an associate’s degree in both Fire Science from EMCC and Legal Technologies
from UMO. Joe lives in Bucksport with his wife Cecilia and has been happily married for 30 years, they
have 2 grown children and 4 grandsons that he adores. Joe enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time at the family camp on Toddy Pond. In the summer he takes pleasure boating to secluded islands in the Penobscot Bay area.

In 2019 Joe started his journey in real estate. His knowledge of the areas around the Penobscot River is extensive and he is excited to show you the beautiful opportunities that these towns provide.
